I really want a formal wedding dress, but how can I find one for less?
Sometimes you can find an inexpensive wedding gown by asking the right questions at wedding dress shops. They may have off-season, sale or clearance dresses, but these inexpensive wedding dresses are seldom advertised, so it’s always a good idea to ask. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for sample sales in your area.
Is it acceptable to make my own wedding invitations?
Thanks to the popularity of scrapbooking and paper stores, it’s never been easier to create unique and memorable wedding invitations.
How can I find affordable decorations for my wedding and reception?
Dollar stores, thrift stores and garage sales can provide a wealth of low-cost wedding and reception decorations. Strands of lights, faux florals, linens, balloons and more can be found for extraordinarily low prices at these stores. Be sure to look after holidays, as this is when items such as these go on clearance or are donated to thrift stores.
Is it less expensive to get married at certain times of the year?
Spring and summer are the most popular wedding seasons, and prices for venues rise accordingly. Choosing a fall or winter wedding not only gives you beautiful decorating themes to work with, but also offers more affordable venue options.
How can I have low-cost music at my wedding reception?
Save yourself $1000 or more by foregoing a live band. If you ask around, you probably have a family member, friend, or friend of a friend who does wedding DJ duties (or at least has a killer sound system) and would be willing to take charge of the music – usually for little or no cost. Your guests just want to dance and have fun, and it’s not that important to them exactly where the music is coming from.
Bridal bouquets are expensive. Is there any way I can make mine more affordable?
To create a beautiful bridal bouquet for less, choose more affordable flowers (carnations, daisies, etc.) and then use a few exotic flowers as accents. You can create a stunning and original bouquet using flowers that are not necessarily “traditional” wedding flowers.
Wedding Website Questions
Can I purchase a wedding website semi-annually?
Currently, sites must be bought only by year and renewed each year. Because domain names (www.mywebsite.com) can only be registered once a year, we can only offer web sites in 12-month increments. Many couples like to keep their wedding website after their wedding so they can post wedding and honeymoon photos. Some couples even like to turn their site into a “family” site.
What are the renewal options after my year subscription is up?
You can choose to renew your site for an additional 12 months and you can also renew your domain name.
Can the pictures on the home page of this template be customized?
Yes, we can upload your own images to be displayed.
Can I password protect my wedding web site?
Yes, you have the option to password protect every page of your website. You can select this password and communicate it only to those you wish to grant access.
When and How do I select my domain name?
You may select a domain name for your web site after you are finished purchasing your site and are ready to create it.
I already have a domain name, can I use it in conjunction with the website I built through Our Lifetime Wish?
No problem. Once you are finished purchasing your website, e-mail us and we will help you direct your website address to point to your wedding website hosted on our servers.
How long does it take to create my personal wedding website?
Once you sign your website will be created instantly and your visitors can then immediately access your personal website through the Internet.
How long will my website remain online?
When you first activate your website, your site will be online for 12 months depending on the package that you selected. After the 12 months, you can renew your website if you want us to continue to host and maintain your website.
Will there be advertisements on my website?
No. Your website will not include 3rd party advertisements or annoying popup windows like you see with free web hosting companies.
Is my wedding information safe on the website?
Absolutely! Per our privacy policy, not only is your information kept strictly confidential on our servers but each page is password protected so that only your username and password can access the data. You must take care, however, to keep your username and password safe and secure for your personal use only.
Is the website for Canadian or United States residents only?
No. You can purchase and use your wedding website from anywhere in the world. Payments, though, must be made in U.S. currency.
Do I need a web hosting account or find an Internet Service Provider?
No, you do not need a web hosting account.. We will provide you with the disk space that you need to store all the content of your web pages. However, we are not an Internet service provider who provides you with access to the Internet.
How will my guests find my website?
Once you sign up, you will receive an email that contains all the information you will need to access our your personal wedding website. Also, you can add your website address to your printed invitations or on a separate card that is inserted in the envelope of your invitations.

Are there any additional hidden or surprising costs?
No. Your one time payment is all-inclusive.

Photo Video Questions
Can I send you digital photos?
Yes, we can use digital photos. In fact, they’re the preferred form. Just put your photos onto a CD or email them to us. Should you choose to email your photos, the preferred format is JPG (although GIF, PNG are also just fine!)
What if my photographs are not digital?
We can scan photos into a digital format for you for a small fee for each image scanned.
Can you crop out only a portion of a photograph that I want to use?
Absolutely. Just make a note on your order form of which images you want cropped and how you want them cropped.
Can you put video clips into my slide show?
Yes! We will insert video clips into your slide show.
Can I choose my own music?
Yes! However, you need to legally own the music you want included in your slideshow before we can use it. You will need to provide us with your personal CD of that purchased music.
How do I organize my photographs for the slideshow?
Along with your photos, you should provide a listing that unambiguously identifies each photo and the order in which you each photo to appear. However, we can also sequence the photos for you if you so desire. After an initial edit, we will obtain a final approval before proceeding
Can I preview my slideshow and make changes before I receive it?
Yes, as a part of our service we will provide you with a link where you can view your show. You can then decide to make changes prior to producing your final show.
Can I purchase additional copies of my slide show?
Additional copies of your slide show may be purchased for a nominal fee.
How long do you keep a back up of my video slideshow in case I misplace or damage my own copy?
We will keep a backup copy of your video slideshow for up to a one year. We will provide replacements for a small service charge.
